Short Course Organization
The new short courses are aimed at upskilling, as opposed to reskilling ( what our usual bootcamps do )
These courses have a different schedule and are organised differently in comparison with Le Wagon Bootcamp you may know already:
- All sessions are ran online, there’s no in-person teaching
- All short courses are blended learning - lectures and theory need to be studied and grasped before coming to live sessions
- One live session lasts 2h30 between 6.30 to 9
- One short course lasts about 8 weeks with two sessions a week : Monday / Wednesday or Tuesday / Thursday (always the same days for a given batch)
- 6 first weeks are for learning content and building skills. 7th week is for a final individual project and the 8th and last one is to present their projects.
- One final project per person.
Live sessions are organized as :
- 5 mins Q/A and lecture recall (can be an exercise together)
- 2 hours exercices in small groups. Groups are based on quiz results received 15 mn before the class by email.
- 25 mins correction with Q/As
Teachers in the short course program should be able to commit to at least a complete module per course ( usually one chapter is 3-4 live sessions ).
